p>Your new companyYou will be working within a large complex local government organisation and be supporting their Head of Finance Business Partnering in the delivery of an effective directorate.Your new roleYou will head up the Children's and Families directorate, and have the title of Strategic Finance Business Partner/Head of Finance. You will be leading the across the whole schools finance directorate, being responsible for the distribution of the budget to the schools through the DSG, overseeing the processes and ensuring the department is functioning well. Running a team of 6 direct reports - all Finance Business Partner level - but grade below. You will have experience in Schools finance, DSG, SEND, school forum. As well as being able to look at the overall effectiveness of the operation of the directorate.We are also looking for a Finance Business Partner - (Grade 6) - managing a team of 4 Finance Managers. Overseeing the budgets and allocations to the schools for DSG, SEND and general fund. What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant, and operate at a strategic level within another large local authority.
