Role: Treasury and Pensions Accountant

Type: Interim Full Time

Salary: 550 to 750 per day

Fully Remote

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Treasury and Pensions Accountant for our Public Sector client.

The post holder will play and active role as part of the commissioning team working in partnership with the Delivery Team Leaders to deliver the organisations outcomes.

You will be supporting the Strategy and Commissioning Managers to achieve the vision and outcomes. You will be managing a team of commissioning resources and developing key stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities for the Treasury and Pensions Accountant are;

  • To ensure the appropriate governance and financial management of the Pension Fund
  • Directing and leading the development and delivery of the Pension Fund and investment strategy
  • Leading the day to day operations of investment and accounting matters
  • Ensuring the correct controls are in place for the delivery of the pension fund activities
  • Working closely with the Pensions Administration team and fund actuaries in order to achieve the most appropriate outcome
  • To lead on presenting reports and advice to pension fun boards and committees.

The Ideal candidate for the Treasury and Pensions Accountant will have;

  • CCAB Qualified or a Professional Investment Qualification
  • Local Government experience
  • Extensive Pensions experience
  • Investment Management
  • Pensions Fund accounts
  • Ability to provide leadership and advice to the team on accounts
  • Stakeholder Management
