Job Title: 66KV SAP
Location: Flexible Travel Covered
Salary: Up to 750 Per Day via PAYE Umbrella
Contract Length: 12 months
Join a leading renewables developer in playing a critical role in keeping their workforce safe and their groundbreaking offshore wind farm running smoothly. As their Senior Authorised Person (SAP), you'll be the guardian of electrical safety, ensuring every isolation, earthing, and procedure adheres to strict industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Champion safety with every step: Your expertise guides the way. Oversee safe working practices, report incidents effectively, conduct thorough risk assessments and audits, and promote a positive safety culture that permeates every crew member.
- Master of SAP duties: As the key liaison between operations and electrical maintenance, you'll handle all SAP tasks under the Lead SAP's guidance. From reviewing switching schedules to meticulously preparing isolations and safety documentation, your diligence ensures seamless operations.
- Unwavering guardian of the grid: Working under strict industry high-voltage safety rules, you'll safeguard this innovative wind farm with meticulous adherence to protocols and procedures.
- Beyond isolations: Your skills expand beyond paperwork. You'll lend a hand in testing and commissioning HV/LV systems, providing expert guidance and personal supervision whenever needed. Point-of-work risk assessments are your domain, ensuring every task is tackled with caution and foresight.
Bonus points if you have:
- Full GWO certifications: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step.
- Offshore HUET certification.
- Familiarity with WTG WTSR and Electrical Safety Rules.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66kV or above.
