This Linux & HPC Engineer role will see you as being supporting Linux System environments (configured in HPC modules).

As the Linux & HPC Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Provide support for RHEL and SUSE Linux systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot physical faults and issues within these system.
• Troubleshoot software/OS problems within the systems and applications.
• Ensure there are no security threast to the system.
• Monitor the performance/usage of the systems by creating automated scripts and utilising a separate monitoring server; create comprehensive reports with this information.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new state of the art HPC systems.

The role offers a competitive daily rate that is Outside IR35, and working 5 days onsite in either Derby. It is initially a 6 months contract with a chance for extension. You must hold active SC Clearance for this position.
