SC or DV Cleared Test Manager - OUTSIDE IR35 - 6 month Contract

iO Associates are currently looking for an SC or DV Cleared Test Manager for a 6 - month contract role (OUTSIDE IR35) offering up to 550 a day (depending on experience) starting ASAP.

This role offers hybrid working - the client is looking at a hybrid working model, you to work remotely but would they like you to be onsite 3 days a week.

The ideal candidates will have experience working in Central Government, Defence and/or Intelligence Communities

- this will be a big bonus. The client would like the succesful candidate to have an interest in being DV cleared.

Leadership & Supervision

• Support the Delivery leads with successfully completing the implementation of initiative objectives
• Communicate & cascade company and divisional objectives to team
• Supervise work and be responsible for the work produced by the team ensure development plans are implemented
• Define testing outputs for new initiatives.
• Motivation of team members to meet delivery / performance targets
• Perform regular team meetings to review progress with initiatives, projects, performance within the team and to provide a company news update.
• Lead by example, communicate company policies and ensure alignment with Test Strategy
• Ensure issues are escalated appropriately with suggested solutions and their progress is communicated in a timely manner

Hands-on aspect of this role you will be required to carry out the below responsibilities:

• Functional testing and Analysis. You will be expected to analyse changes to product set and services, define appropriate test scripts/scenarios and report progress against credible test plan. You will be capable of creating the following artefacts/outputs:

• Level Test Plan
• Jira Agile Tickets
• Test Scripts
• Test Readiness Review
• Test Completion Report
• Test Exit Review

• You will be expected to execute and manage appropriate tests to ensure that requirements have been fully met and communicate defects or trends clearly to software developers and operations leads, outlining how defects are identified and the possible causes.
• Validating application behaviour.

• Test analysis. You will be expected to apply logical, solve complex problems and make recommendations based on testing outcome.

• Execute test scenarios and document results.

• Plan, design, manage, and report on all testing whilst using the appropriate testing tools and techniques and conforming to agreed process standards

• Identifying risk areas associated with the project and testing objectives.
• Working with multiple teams to determine testing criteria.

• End to end testing regression testing

Previous experience:

• A good understanding of Microsoft product stack.
• A good fundamental understanding of VMware products.
• Experience working in the Government cleared space.
• Working in air-gapped environments (not essential)
