Senior Enterprise Agile Coach and Agile Transformation Lead sought by leading investment bank based in London.
**Inside IR35 – Hybrid working**
As an Enterprise Agile Coach, you'll help train management and teams on the agile methodology and oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective outcomes for the organization.
What You Will Do
Role
As a member of the Lean centre of excellence team, the Senior Agile Coach will work with one or more business units on the day to day basis. The primary goal is to support the teams to deliver value through agile ways of working. Without prescribing processes, the role is focused on supporting the needs of those teams to succeed in their mission.
Using your skills you will help teams and portfolios focus on efficiency, predictability and delivery of customer value. You will be directly involved in their ongoing success. A skilled practitioner in multiple disciplines such as Scrum and Kanban with a pragmatic approach on agile transformation at scale is key competency for the role.
Responsibilities •
- Work with the product managers, delivery directors and technology heads to transform the organization to a product-centric operating model following our transformational playbook
- Coach Product owner(s) to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, creation and maintenance of the product backlog, including empirical planning
- Support the running and maturing of agile practice in squads
- Teach systems thinking and servant leadership.
- Able to identify needs and support teams in finding solutions to issues such as being predictable, efficient and focused on delivery of customer value with fast feedback cycles
- Understanding and ability to coach/train fundamental Agile principles and techniques
- Understand how to use metrics and data to drive improvements, such as cycle time and throughput
- Run training and workshops for wider groups
- Able to challenge preconceived ideas in order to bring out the best results in our people. Bring ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution to help the team become a high-performance team
- Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team
- Embrace the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instil the same in the team(s) you coach
- Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events
Your Knowledge and Skills
- 18+ years of experience working in IT
- Extensive Experience of working with senior stakeholders and teams
- Must have experience of leading agile transformation programs at scale in Banking and financial services
- Ability to coach one to one and teams
- Has the ability to see a problem, step in and then step out when appropriate
- An excellent stakeholder manager, influencer with great communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Passionate about 'being better' with ability to create an appetite for continuous improvement across the tribe
- Value and outcome driven, with a positive, "can do" attitude
- A highly motivated thinker with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
- An open and honest individual who both welcomes and provides feedback in a way that is constructive and thoughtful.
- Should hold industry recognized agile qualifications (e.g A-CSM, CSP) , Coaching certification, as evidence of continued professional development (e.g ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF)
- Good to have experience in IT transformation projects
