Job Description: The Senior Compliance Officer role at an international law firm involves overseeing compliance operations, particularly in AML and conflicts, on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. Senior Compliance Officer 12m Fixed-Term Contract International Law Firm Salary Up To £80,000pa London My client, an international law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional with AML and Conflicts experience to join them on an initial 12m FTC basis in their London office – working as their Senior Compliance Officer. This role is a maternity cover contract! The Business Acceptance team is a global team operating out of three offices, including London. This role has elements of day-to-day compliance work, as well as people management.

As the successful Senior Compliance Officer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Acting as an initial escalation point for queries from team members
  • Managing workload by allocating work fairly and ensuring it’s completed promptly
  • Analysing conflict search results and resolving any issues
  • Implementing and maintaining information barriers
