This is an excellent opportunity to learn and development within a 2 year fixed term role.

TPP are recruiting a Senior Database Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established charity. You will lead and manage the Database team through a period of change, motivating and developing staff to achieve their full potential, and creating a high performing team who work collaboratively.

Work setting: Hybrid
Salary: 59,000 per annum
Hours: 2-year FTC, full-time (35 hours per week)

The Role:
As a Senior Database Manager, you will ensure effective processes are in place to enable the collection and management of supporter information, which is accurate and accessible, whilst providing insight to help fundraising teams deliver campaigns and achieve targets. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team through a period of change, foster a culture of high performance, and drive data-driven fundraising initiatives.

Main responsibilities:
Data Integrity and Management: Establish and maintain data integrity, oversee data import processes, and ensure logical storage to maintain the highest data quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Database Team, setting objectives and KPIs, nurturing talent, and ensuring consistent delivery during times of change.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Support the Senior Data Analyst in delivering reports and dashboards, collaborate with external agencies for bespoke data analysis projects, and manage audience planning for the fundraising department.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure accurate Gift Aid claims, stay up-to-date with legislation, and represent the fundraising department.
Budget and Forecast Management: Develop and manage annual plans, budgets, and forecasts for the Database Team, ensuring alignment with organisational requirements.


Essential requirements:
*Experience in fundraising database management.
*Leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading teams through change.
*Strong analytical and segmentation skills to drive performance and strategy.
*Experience in managing outsourced partner/agency relationships.
*Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
*Excellent IT literacy, including MS Office and relational databases.
