Description

The key responsibilities of a Senior Finance Managerwill include, but may not be limited to;

  • Overseeing the financial operations of the trust.
  • Providing effective financial management reports to trustees and senior leadership.
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the trust's strategic plan.
  • Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit process.
  • Managing the trust's cash flow and forecasting.
  • Ensuring the trust is compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading and managing the finance team to ensure efficient operation.

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in a senior finance role within a Not for Profit and Charities setting, education desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner.
  • Ability to commute to Manchester.
