Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Senior Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;
- Overseeing the financial operations of the trust.
- Providing effective financial management reports to trustees and senior leadership.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the trust's strategic plan.
- Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit process.
- Managing the trust's cash flow and forecasting.
- Ensuring the trust is compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Leading and managing the finance team to ensure efficient operation.
A Successful Senior Finance Manager Should Have
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
- Experience in a senior finance role within a Not for Profit and Charities setting, education desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner.
- Ability to commute to Manchester.
