Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large Public Sector Organisation in the the North West who are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a initial 3-6 month interim contract. The role offers hybrid working with a lot of flexibility and is paying between £25-£35 per hour.

Key responsibilities include;

• Provide financial advice to non-finance staff driving efficiencies across the division 


• Prepare annual budgets and proactively review budget statements to present into senior management


• Assist with Cost Improvement Programmes and provide commentary on the financial position of the division


• Produce accurate forecasts of the year-end financial position and review accruals in conjunction with budget holders


• Investigate variances, and produce monthly budget statements


• Contributing to strategic financial plans with divisional leads
