Job Title: Senior Service Desk Officer



Contract Type: 6 Months with a view to extend



Location: Manchester - full time onsite



Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm

IR35 Status: Inside IR35



Daily Rate: 275 per day

Looking for a new contract beginning in February for a minimum of 6 months? Then look no further...



Currently representing a healthcare organisation with an office in Manchester who require a Senior Service Desk Officer to work full time onsite to assist with IT operations and support of all users that are in office as well as remote.



Responsibilities:




  • You will provide 2nd line support to end users and escalate more complex 3rd line problems to other team members or third party providers.

  • Complete service desk tickets within a timely manner and to the required service levels.

  • Provide support to junior colleagues which may include line management duties such as conducting 1-1's and implementations of personal development plans.

  • Support team members with 1st line issues.

  • Ensure all SLA's and KPI's are met by working closely with Service Desk Manager, highlighting any complex issues and ensuring it is resolved.

  • Produce documentation of IT processes such as changes to laptop builds to support the further development and improvement of Service Desk process.

  • Provide excellent customer service to colleagues and other members of staffs



Skills & Experience:



To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience with the below technologies and products.




  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework

  • Microsoft certified network engineer or equivalent

  • Able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge in relation to end user support and a range of IT hardware, software and systems such as Office 365, Microsoft operating systems and Anti-Virus

  • Experience with cloud systems such as AWS or Azure

  • Experience of supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 OS including Windows 2012 server or above

  • Extensive experience of Active Directory administration and support

  • Experience of mobile device management solution such as MS Intune



Nice to haves:




  • M365 Certification or qualification

  • VMware Certification

  • Experience of MS Dynamics or Sharepoint

  • CCNA

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • NHS experience



Contract Details:



This is an inside IR35 contract role, offering competitive remuneration of approximately 275per day via an Umbrella company.
