Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our dynamic team, contributing to the design and development of technical services and solution architectures for various projects, including API connections and External Portal integration. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning system integration, selecting appropriate platforms and technologies, and ensuring alignment with industry-standard reference architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Plan system integration, selecting necessary platforms and technologies to meet project requirements and user needs.
• Design technical services for API connections and External Portal integration.
• Design solution architecture, including Data Storage, in line with industry-standard reference architectures.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and Developers to enable them to design the Technical Architecture and implement solutions.
• Anticipate future opportunities or blockers, ensuring decisions by development teams align with the overall strategy.
• Review and define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Analyze how the current solution integrates with schemes.
• Conduct technical discussions with suppliers prior to tendering.
• Finalize the right solution and assess third-party providers.
• Assess work required to update existing services to incorporate new third-party providers.
• Evaluate work involved in migrating existing services to cloud platforms.
• Provide detailed technical documentation.
• Develop technical designs approved by the technical design authority for GDS assessment.

Objectives: To support the team in delivering the next iteration of products, enabling automated checks between registers, and facilitating organizations to notify eligible users directly via a portal.

Key Outputs and Deliverables:

• Work collaboratively with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Automation Testers, and the IT Infrastructure team to develop and deliver functionality for key business applications.
• Produce technical designs approved by the technical design authority that can undergo GDS assessment.
• Develop a technical roadmap for the ongoing development of the products.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in solution architecture and technical design.
• Must have proven experience of successfully developing technical designs which have been approved by the technical design authority for GDS assessment.
• Strong background in system integration and platform selection.
• Familiarity with industry-standard reference architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in providing technical documentation.
• Knowledge of cloud platform migration is a plus.
