My customer is looking for an SOC Analyst that will be responsible for incident response, vulnerability management and other core capabilities. You will be required to drive process and procedure and act as an SME when working with other IT Teams.
The SOC Analyst is responsible for improving system, application, and data security by analysing, monitoring, and resolving security incidents. You would also lead a team within SecOps.
This SOC Analyst role would be hybrid working 2 days a week onsite in Worthing for the duration of the 6-month contract.
Key technologies the SOC Analyst will have experience:
- Previous experience as an IT Security Operations Specialist/Security Consultant/Security Engineer
- Experience leading a Security Operations team.
- Driving procedure and process within the SecOps Team
- Service request handling, Incident response, Monitoring and Analysis, Documentation, Vulnerability management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security tool Management, Team management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Experience improving application, system, and data security.
- On call: 1 in every 4 weeks.

- Qualys
- Tenable
- Sentinel
- Defender
- Log Rhythm
- Trend Apex One
- Varonis
