We are recruiting a Software Engineering services for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.

Key Responsibilities of the Software Engineering services:
Software development for Autonomous vehicle and city connected vehicle
Autonomous Vehicle test support
Connected Autonomous vehicle trend research, Conference finding and attendance
University and supplier Liaison for Research Projects
Simulation support
Working with sensors and cameras
Able to work on site with the vehicle testing
Support and represent the group in a UK funded program
Software implementation in good quality
Functionality check in car and debugging
Report preparation for automotive company (UK & Japan)
Setting up and presenting to automotive company in Japan
Weekly / Monthly reviews with automotive Senior/ manager / Director

Qualifications & Experience for the Software Engineering services:
Degree level or higher in Engineering or similar qualification
Capability of software coding, C++/Python preferable

Hours & Pay for the Software Engineering services:

Monday to Friday
39 hours per week
29.60ph equivalent to 60,028
