You should have strong SQL Server experience and technical skills as well as be an experienced Database Administrator.

You should also have experience with the following -

• Installing, configuration, upgrading, and patching SQL Server databases and related software
• Monitoring and troubleshooting database issues, such as performance, availability, security, and backups
• Implementing and enforcing database standards, policies, and procedures
• Designing and implementing database backup and recovery strategies
• Performing database tuning and optimization using native and third-party tools
• Managing database users, roles, and permissions
• Documenting database architecture, configuration, and maintenance processes
• Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff

This is a 3 month contract that has been deemed Inside IR35. There is an expectation to be onsite in Glasgow 1 day per week.
