Redfish Infrastructure are partnering with a leading Principal Contractor delivering a major highway project in Yorkshire. We are seeking a Sub Agent / Senior Engineer with experience of new highway construction with significant earthworks and box culvert experience. 





RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Developing and reviewing safe systems of work

  • Managing site engineering team and delegating tasks

  • Programming and co-ordinating site activities

  • Daily and weekly co-ordination of sub-contractors

  • Ensuring compliance with safe systems of work

  • Ensuring all works comply with highways and project specification and drawings

  • Writing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans for works (ITP)

  • Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with approved ITP

  • Ensuring all activities on site are recorded through daily diaries and photographs

  • Raising technical queries relating to the design

  • Attend daily co-ordination and weekly planning meetings

  • Deliver workforce briefings and inductions



PERSON SPECIFICATION:




  • Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc MSc, BEng, Meng)

  • Minimum 5 years experience delivering infrastructure projects in a site role

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS

  • Other training such as work at height, IPAF, TWS, TWC, lifting appointed persons to be listed on CV.

  • Experience in some or all: major earthworks, box culverts, formwork, reinforced concrete (FRC), associated temporary works.
