Urgent need for a Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (SME)

As a Supply Chain SME, you will be responsible for providing expert insights and solutions to enhance the retail supply chain operations during an implementation/project. Your role involves analysing current processes, identifying improvement areas, and implementing best practices in supply chain management during a supply chain project implementation. You will drive the project from business and retailer perspective, ensuring that the supply chain strategies are perfectly aligned with the retailer objectives and Blue Yonder capabilities.

Main Expectations & Tasks

Lead the implementation of Blue Yonder solutions, from retailer side, overseeing all phases of the project from business perspective.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the supply chain strategy is integrated seamlessly with retail operations and technology platforms.

Analyze current supply chain processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization through Blue Yonder solutions.

Monitor and report on the performance of the new system, making adjustments as necessary to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Provide expertise in retail market trends, supplier landscape, and logistics innovations.

Advise on risk management and contingency planning in the supply chain context.

Ask the right questions to the project to guarantee that all scenarios are covered, based on the retailer main goals

Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Retail Management, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on retail

Experience with Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) solutions is a big plus

Strong understanding of retail supply chain processes and challenges.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of the latest trends in supply chain management and retail technology
