Job Description: The Survey Technician role involves working on the Dogger Bank A/B offshore wind project, focusing on the setup, execution, and reporting of survey activities. The position requires ensuring data integrity and quality control throughout the project lifecycle. The technician will collaborate closely with project management and client representatives to deliver high-quality survey support. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and operate survey and measurement equipment on board.
- Collect and process survey data (bathymetric, geophysical, and positioning) throughout project execution.
- Conduct field checks and verify data accuracy.
- Analyse and interpret data; compile comprehensive reports for Project Management and Client Representatives.
- Maintain data systems and support quality and safety standards.
- Identify and address non-conformities, propose technical solutions and improvements.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Survey Technician role.
- Strong hands-on experience with offshore survey equipment and data processing.
- Degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, or Geospatial Science.
- Certificates Required: GWO (Full), VCA, BOSIET with HUET, NEBOSH, Chester Step Shoulder Measurement.
