Technical Data Analyst

We require a technical data analyst with strong data skills to act as the bridge between our value streams (progammes of work/projects) and our Core Data Team. This role requires a technical analyst that can source value stream level system information, data and business process information to allow the Core Data Team to create our enterprise data view of our organization.

The role will report into the Value stream with a dotted line to the core data team. We expect that the individual will consider themselves part of both teams and dedicate their time across initiatives being managed by both parties.

Our expectation is that the role will support ensuring the core data team are able to deliver our strategic data management framework, have visibility of our data and understand how this data relates while supporting the value streams to deliver their specific project objectives.

Key skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills - Strong skills required.
  • Process mapping skills - Strong skills required.
  • Datamodelling skills - Experience of Datamodelling, data governance, data cataloguing, data lineage and data architecture.
  • General technology skills - Database, applications and systems integration.
  • Business stakeholder management - able to work at all levels
  • Ability to work with IT peers and IT SMEs to capture, document and progress issues and business requirements.
