Salary/Rate: Up to 260 per day INSIDE IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading engineering clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Train Systems Train Manager to join their team for a six-month contract.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Communicate with site management team to ensure test activity is carried out according to the sales plan.
2. Ensure resource is aligned with test plan
3. Supervise and control daily operation and asset management systems.
4. Integrate with customer for reconfiguration, changes and operational requirements.
5. Analyse, forecast and manage operations and costs.
6. Support preparation of annual operating budgets.
7. Over-see engineering activities complying with customer operational requirements.
8. Develop and train staff to ensure high skill levels and technical competence.
9. Collaborate with Human Resources on employee development and planning initiatives.
10. Assist in implementing LEAN concepts and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Management experience.
2. HND/HNC or equivalent level of experience.
3. Knowledge of train systems and sub-systems.
