Job Title: Train Test Engineer
Location: Derby (Onsite 5 days per week)
Rate: 250 inside IR35
Shift Pattern: Shift work required - mornings/afternoons, 50 hours per week (06:00-16:00 or 12:00-22:00)
Start Date: 22/01/2024
Job Type: 6 months Contract

We have an exciting opportunity now available for a skilled Test Engineer with experience in routine train testing and fault free to join our client for a 6 months contract.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Execute allocated activities to the appropriate procedure.
2. Attend pre-test and post-test debriefs held by the Team Leader.
3. Ensure compliance to HSE regulations and local site procedures.
4. Review the quality of the test specification and/or test procedure.
5. Track and compile all activities during the shift and complete a high-quality test log.
6. Engage in assigned improvement activities.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Minimum 5 year's experience of the rail industry and train sub-systems.
2. Experience of Aventra platform desirable but not essential
3. NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline required as a minimum
