Windows OS - High level of expertises and OS setups, Windows Server Internals, Troubleshooting Windows OS at advance level. Citrix setups and administration.

Powershell - Expert at advance level of Powershell (must have)

Python - Ability to Read/Write Python scripts for automation and enhancing prod montoring and DevOps

Essential

Candidates must have minimum of 7 years' experience in role, majority of which should have been gained within a Capital Markets context. He/She must be experienced in providing multi-disciplined technical support Windows OS and hosting of application platforms and Middleware components, performance and capacity management and good knowledge of basic SQL and database management, Release & Configuration management and with highest level of analytic troubleshooting skillsset.

Preferred

Production experience across the following:

• Technical Expertise - primarily trained in Windows OS, Citrix, Scripting PoweShell, Basic SQL and development code basic knowledge.
• Software/Application Skills - Good skills knowledge in configuration management and supporting of the following .NET, C#/C++ and Java applications.
• Analytics - Working quickly to analysis and troubleshoot for critical impact resolutions.
• Server Monitoring and deployment toolsets - SVN, Python, Bladelogic, Altiris,Geneos, Dynatrace
• DevOps - Core knowledge of Ansible, BitBuckets, Artifactory ElasticSearch, Jenkins

Repsonsibilities

• Prepare and build high availability hosting platforms for Tier1 applications.
• Manage production Incidents, Changes and applying good controls into production.
• Pro-actively monitoring, manage and improve availability and performance of the production environments from presentation, application layers to Middleware and databases.
• Plan and implement application releases, pre-testing and configuration changes.
• Evaluating new toolset to enhance and manage global production platforms consistently.
• Participate in technical projects as part of the Application Production team, contributing in architecture reviews and design enhancements, obsolescence and migrating application systems to new internal cloud, physical and virtual infrastructures.
• Provide feedback and propose solutions to management on performance, risks and capacity and design issues for continuous improvements
• Compliance for IT and Cybersecurity and assist in planning and execution of Disaster Recovery exercises
• Inside IR35;Hybrid Working
